Notes

Prior to World War II tarallini were only made for weddings. Many of those who immigrated to North America kept this tradition, though some did decide to do them any time they wished. The tarallini in the photo was one of many made by Rita Palazzo for her son's wedding. Photo: Mary Melfi.
