Baked Macaroni with Cheese (Baked elbow macaroni with cheddar and milk)

1 pint milk
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste


"Partly cook macaroni in boiling salted water ? drain. Scald

milk, stir in macaroni, add pepper and salt, grate and add

cheese. When well blended, transfer to fireproof casserole and bake 30 minutes in moderate oven, stirring gently after about 10 minutes to make sure it is not sticking to bottom of casserole."
