Baked Fresh Cod with Wine Sauce (flavored with parsley, garlic salt and red wine)

Ingredients

1 pound codfish
2 tablespoons onion, chopped
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 cup red wine
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon pepper



Directions

SAUCE:

Brown onion in hot olive oil, stir in flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper and milk; cook until thickened.

Stir wine in gradually.

Cut fish into serving pieces, sprinkle with rest of salt, garlic salt, and cover with the sauce.

Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes.

To serve, sprinkle with parsley.

Serves 4.
