Ingredients

1 kilo flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons caraway seeds
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup white wine
1 cup water

Directions

Place the ingredients in a "Kitchen Aid" electric mixer.

Knead for 10 minutes.

On a floured wooden board, shape the dough into a ball.

Wrap the dough in clear plastic wrap. Let it rest for about an hour at room temperature.

Cut the dough into smaller portions.

Make thin ropes about 8 inches long and 1/4 inch wide.

Fold the ropes into half bows -- pinch the two ends together.

Place the taralli on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 350 degrees F. until a nice golden color -- 20 to 30 minutes.

Remove and cool.
