Lemon Ice/Granita di Limone (using lemon juice, water and sugar)

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups sugar
grated rind of 2 lemons
1 pint water
juice of 4 lemons



Directions

Make a syrup of the sugar and water, add lemon rind and boil 5 minutes.

Cool and add lemon juice.

Freeze, beat to a mush and freeze again.

Serves 6.
