Ingredients 3 egg yolks
Directions Combine the first five ingredients and beat until well mixed. Cook in a double boiler until thick and creamy. Add cocoa powder. Mix well. Cool. Notes This is a traditional recipe for Molise-style chocolate custard that is most often used to fill in the layers of "Pane di Spagna" or topped on "Zuppa Inglese."
