Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

Frosting for about a dozen cream puffs

Version I
about 3/4 cup chocolate for baking
1 to 2 tablespoons milk
about 1/2 cup roasted almonds, coarsely chopped

Version II
1 package of 8 oze (225 g) semi-sweet A.Bakers baking chocolate
1/4 cup milk mixed with 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon butter (optional)



Directions

Version I

o Melt chocolate on stove or microwave (add a touch of milk if chocolate is hard).

o Pour melted chocolate over pastry.

o Sprinkle coarsely chopped roasted almonds over the chocolate frosting.

o Keep the pastries in the fridge until ready to serve.



Version II

o Mix milk with cocoa powder very well.

o Using a double broiler, melt chocolate, adding the butter and milk mixed with cocoa powder.

o Pour melted chocolate over pastry immediately.

o Top with chopped roasted almonds.
