Ingredients
1/2 cup roasted blanched almonds, chopped
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 eggs
3/4 pound apples, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
about 2 tablespoons butter for greasing 9-inch springform pan
For dusting
Icing sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix eggs, flour, sugar and vanilla together.
Add chopped almonds and apples to the mixture.
Place batter in 9-inch springform pan.
Bake until done -- about 35 minutes.
Cool (The tart will fall when cooled which is quite normal and should not affect the taste).
When serving dust the tart with icing sugar.
