Bove (Italian Christmas Eggnog, using milk, lemons, Marsala and sugar)

Ingredients

1 litre of milk
peel of 2 lemons
1 cup of sugar
Cinnamon

8 egg yolks
1 cup sugar

1/2 cup of pure alcohol
3/4 cup Marsala




Directions

Add the peel of two lemons, one cup sugar and cinnamon to a litre of milk, and bring to boil.

Cool overnight.

The next day beat together egg yolks with 1 cup sugar.

Stir in milk.

Add 1/2 cup of pure alcohol and 3 cups Marsala.

Strain in a bottle and serve.
