Ingredients

For dough
4 eggs
4 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
500 grams (about 16 ounces) of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 shot of sambuca
grated rind of one lemon and one orange

oil for frying

for dusting
icing sugar

2 cucchiai d'olio
500 g di farina
1 bustina di lievito in polvere
1 bicchierino di sambuca
la buccia grattugiata di un limone ed un'arancia

olio per la frittura

zucchero a velo

The scroccafusi are a typical sweet carnival civitonico. The Marche region has included in the list of traditional Italian food products.



N.B. Recipe directions are not given in Wikibooks. However, this style of fritter is generally easy to do. Make the dough with the ingredients, presented; shape them into balls. Fry the balls. Cool. And dust with icing sugar prior to serving. Best fresh.
