Anise biscotti
Biscotti agli Anici (Anise Biscotti with anise seeds and butter)

Ingredients

250 grams flour*
50 grams butter
1 egg
2 teaspoons baking powder
Anise seeds
Salt
A few tablespoons of milk

*Makes about 20 anise biscotti



Directions

Make a well with the flour.

Add sugar, butter, salt, an egg, anise seeds, baking powder and a few tablespoons of milk and make a dough that is not too hard.

Shape into a log.

Bake for about 20 minutes.

Cool.

Cut into slices and then return to the oven and bake until the slices are golden in color.
