Baked Sweet Ravioli (made with sweet yeast dough, filled with walnuts and orange marmalade)

Ingredients

For dough
1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/3 cup warm water
3 cups flour
2 1/4 tablespoons sugar
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled

For filling
walnuts, ground
orange marmalade

For dusting
Powdered sugar



Directions

Proof yeast in 1/3 cup warm water.

Mix sugar and flour.

Mix butter and milk.

Combine yeast mixture, butter, milk, flour and sugar and work into a malleable dough.

Form a ball with the dough.

Let the dough rest in a container for about 10 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a floured board to a thickness of about 1/4 of an inch.

Cut rounds about inches in circumference.

Place filling in center of one round, top with a matching round. Press together.

Place the sweet ravioli on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a 375 F degree oven until golden brown.

Cool.

Before serving dust with powdered sugar.
