Ciambella al mascarpone (Italian cake decorated with mascarpone cheese and cocoa powder)

Ingredients

Ingredients for 8 people
For batter
400 grams (about 14 ounces) flour
125 grams (about 4 1/4 ounces sugar
100 grams (about 3 1/2 ounces) of butter, room temperature
2 eggs
1 packet of yeast

For topping
fresh mascarpone cheese
powdered cocoa

Ingredienti per 8 persone (original Italian text)
400 g. di farina
125 g. di zucchero
100 g. di burro
2 uova
1 bustina di lievito



Directions

The butter must be at room temperature, not cold.

Mix all ingredients vigorously and at length, until the dough will not make air bubbles.

Place in a buttered cake pan with a hole in the center and bake at 180 C degrees for about 45 minutes.

Once the cake is ready, take some fresh mascarpone and spread it on the top of the cake.

Finally sprinkle with cocoa powder.



Preparazione (original Italian text)

Impastare tutti gli ingredienti energicamente e a lungo, finch? l'impasto non far? delle bolle d'aria.

Mettere in una tortiera con il buco centrale imburrata e infornare a 180? per circa 45 minuti. Il burro deve essere a temperatura ambiente, non freddo.

Una volta pronta la ciambella, prendete del mascarpone fresco e spalmatelo su di essa.

Infine cospargetela con del cacao.
