Casacalenda, Molise
Date: 1925
Notes: This is a photo of Pasquale Vincelli circa 1925. Pasquale would have been 65 years old at the time. What is unique about his story is that he raised six girls and one boy practically by himself as he lost his wife with the birth of their last daughter. Pasquale's story is parallel to many other similar stories of sacrifices that people had to make during those difficult times. He was my great grandfather.
