My mother is on her left. Twelve children in total One child - the youngest is missing - not yet born. All of them immigrated to Toronto. Terlizzi, Puglia, Italy | Date: 1950 | Notes: La Pasquetta. Easter Monday celebrations which were spent picnicking in the countryside were a lot of fun for children. The time was spent eating, drinking and playing games. In the picture my cousin is drinking wine from the bottle. Back then kids were encourage to drink a touch of wine. Was considered good for the health.
