Terlizzi, Puglia, Italy
Date: 1950
Notes: La Pasquetta. Easter Monday celebrations which were spent picnicking in the countryside were a lot of fun for children. The time was spent eating, drinking and playing games. In the picture my cousin is drinking wine from the bottle. Back then kids were encourage to drink a touch of wine. Was considered good for the health. Present in the photo are my Nonna Giovanna Cioce, my aunts Nina and Maria, and my cousins Pasquale (drinking wine), Maria and others.
